Overview

Beaty Construction was selected by Hannig Construction to provide Augercast Pile foundations for the Hulman Center Expansion/Renovation as well as underpinning of existing foundations to facilitate the installation of a new elevator pit inside ISU’s Hulman Center. Beaty Construction provided the design and installation of the required limited access underpinning as well as installation of the augercast pile foundations.

Overview

Beaty Construction was selected by Messer Construction to provide the excavation and underpinning of existing foundations to facilitate the installation of new elevator pits inside the renovated McNutt Dormitory. Based on the limited access the majority of the excavation and rock removal was required to be performed by hand. Beaty Construction provided design and execution of the underpinning, excavation, and rock removal work.

Overview

Beaty Construction was selected by Glenroy Construction to provide an earth retention system to support existing foundations during construction of a new elevator pit to be constructed inside an existing stairwell of Purdue’s Lambert Fieldhouse. Beaty provided a voluntary alternate to the bid documents design due to constructability issues. Beaty’s alternate design was for pit underpinning that would be utilized to temporarily support the existing foundations as well as comprise part of the finished elevator pit structure.
